Do you have any information about when the next one will be? Seems like a fun thing to check out.

Looks like it’s September 15-17:

Pretty cool. Kind of replaces the event that RMVR used to put on in Steamboat Springs years back. It used to be combined with this huge car show downtown and an airshow, good times.

RMVR isn’t a bad group of folks, but their races tend to be much more of a parade than anything else. They’ve also got the head in the sand mentality that afflicts so much of the vintage racing world in refusing to incorporate plenty old, yet more modern than their venerated 50's to 70's machinery.

That a tactful way of putting what was obvious within half a lap of that video. I’ve seen more vigor contesting the victory lap plate at an old country buffet.

I think in this case we can give them a pass. Going off track there would not end well .

That was the entire point. They take over streets no sane city manager would allow anything beyond a motoring exhibition on. These types of events might have the makings of a good time but they are bound to confuse someone expecting racing.

True, but at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix every year sees a few incidents that indicate at least some of them are pushing. A couple years ago I saw a car roll a few times.
